Pink Flamingos

nybody out there searching for a good date movie? Well here's a nice little movie I dug up a few weeks ago. Words can't possibly describe this movie, but I'll give it a try. The "plot" concerns two families, each of whom are vying for the coveted prize of filthiest person alive. They each do stunt after stunt to try to top the previous achievement. Director John Waters first feature may very well be the most disgusting movie my eyes have ever gazed upon(except for some underground adult films, but that's a different story).

The lovely and talented Divine, whom you may remember from "Hairspray", is the real show here. Everyone else who starred in this movie is dead, to my knowledge. Divine truly lives up to her(his) name in this one, looking like an overweight evil clown sort of thing, and believe it or now, "her" acting isn't that bad. The rest of the cast is also unforgettable, especially the inconquerable Edith Massey, as Divine's mother, who lays in a crib all day and has some sort of an egg fetish.

To list the repusive acts here would be a sin, as I would like as many people as possible to see this film. Well, if you like films which include defication, bestiality, incest, masturbation, cannibalism, a weird scene involving a man's sphincter muscle, oral sex, and murder, this one's for you. I found this in a video store right next to "Parenthood". Awesome.

P.S. After you sit through this, feel free to e-mail me with showers of gratitude and praise for exposing you to this achievement. I loved it.
