h baby, you know a movie's going to be fantastic when a professional athlete stars in it right? I mean, look at the success Shaq has had with "Steel". But now it's NBA bad boy, Dennis Rodman's chance to strut his acting stuff. In the film, "Double Team", he co-stars with another great actor, Jean-Claude Van Damme. (Double Impact, Lionheart) This winning combination can't go wrong. The bad guy, Stavros, played by critically acclaimed actor and drug addict, Mickey Rourke. (they just love Mickey in Europe)
Basically, this your normal, everyday, Van Damme action movie. Bad plot, bad acting (between Van Damme's grasp on the English language and Rodman's inability to enunciate, you will get a few giggles.) and kick ass action scenes.
I would have to give this movie five and a half
Beans. It does have some redeeming qualities in it's action sequences. But Van Damme is old news. And while Rodman did a decent job kicking around terrorists, he should take a break and work on his acting. (he can still kick camera men though, eh?)
