My favorite type of movie is: Classics

My least favorite type of movie is: Martial Arts

'm now 40 (sniff), single and a public servant in Canberra. Amongst my more eccentric tastes and interests lies some sort of interest in bad movies.

I'm also interested in good ones, too, of course. But I like to think that sites like this one do serve as 'consumer alerts' for people wanting to check out the quality of films that they are thinking of renting, watching, etc.

Not all bad movies are bad viewing - "Plan 9 from Outer Space" is a case in point here. That little chunk of celluoid is quite entertainingly bad.

Some are generally bad - eg "Grease 2" and "Howard the Duck" (well, actually, more like "Howard the Turkey").

Others, however, can be quite offensively bad. These include such films as "The Outer Space Connection" and "The Amityville Horror" which promote paranormal piffle and general off-color films such as "Les Paterson Saves the World" and "White Men Can't Jump" that can offend quite badly for reasons relating to religion , foul language or other factors.

I hope to be able to take on and review these films
in particular in this sudden and unexpected chance to put my thoughts in print. Just how successful my efforts have been remain to be seen however. Too long-winded for instance.

Readers should note that any films that I do review are ones that I have personally seen.

Your reviewer has been qute busy lately, and has not been decidedly inactive on this site accordingly. He hopes to recharge his batteries soon, to perhaps shorten some of his past efforts and resume soon!
